Common inspiration – an international workshop on regional branding

The workshop entitled 'How to do the best promotion of our region' which took place in Telč (Czech Republic), presented systems of regional branding in the Czech Republic and Austria.

The Czech-Austrian workshop called 'Common inspiration' was a flashpoint of the project Regional product financed from the Small Projects Fund Vysočina (Czech Highlands) – Lower Austria. Workshop was organized in a close cooperation with a project partner Zukunftsraum Thayaland.

The workshop took place at historic premises of the former Jesuit College in Telč that hosts the Masaryk University Centre now. The aim of the workshop was the mutual inspiration, the presentation of different systems of regional branding in the Czech the Republic and Austria, and learning about successful promotional events organised by the region, as well as interesting ways of support to entrepreneurs in both countries.

Besides to representatives of the region Vysočina and Waldviertel, the workshop was attended by members of the Agrarian Chamber and the Chamber of Commerce, certified producers, and members of certification committees.

There was also a tasting of food carrying the brand VYSOČINA regional product® and products from the region Waldviertel. A small exhibition presented almost all certified producers of non-food products awarded by the brand  VYSOČINA regional product®.

This event formed a part of the project Regional product financed from the Small Project Fund Vysočina – Lower Austria which is focused on promotion of the brand VYSOČINA regional product®.
