The Waddengroep Foundation stands for sustainable, environmentally friendly development of the countryside in the Wadden region. The Waddensea region as a whole includes the Waddensea, the Wadden islands and a part of the mainland, up to 25 km from the coast. The Waddengroep Foundation stimulates the local economy by promoting:
- Regional production
- The processing of raw materials from the Waddensea region and the trade of local products
